Welcome to Activate Learning
Activate Learning provides assessment and learning therapies for children and adolescents with moderate learning difficulties and behavioural problems including: dyslexia, dyspraxia, auditory processing disorders, sensory integration issues, ADD, ADHD and those on the autism spectrum.
Parents are usually the first people to recognize when a child has a problem. Unless the symptoms are severe, the difficulties are often overlooked and parents are told, “Don’t worry, he will grow out of it!” and many children do.
However, there are children, who are of average or above average intelligence, but who are immature in other aspects of their development: social, emotional, co-ordination, balance, ability to focus and so on. If these immaturities persist, the children are at risk of experiencing learning or behavioural difficulties at various stages in their lives.
